Hey all. What is your opinion on the health (mind + body) and meditative benefits of yoga in general, and nude yoga in particular? I sometimes perform yoga clothed and sometimes nude, and I must say I, I think I can get deeper into the stretches and feel more confident and energized after the nude yoga sessions compared to after the clothed yoga sessions (but don't get me wrong -- any yoga feels much better than no yoga, clothed or not!).
Here's a little article about nude yoga:http://healthtrawl.com/nude-yoga/
i concur.i too believe that performing yoga postures nude has very restorative and meditative effects. i believe that, like clothed yoga, nude yoga can be performed in groups or individually, in solitude.even if someone doesn't like the thought, i think they should try it two or so times, to confirm. you never know what you'll end up loving!

I don't know about The Game being the best rapper... Speaking of rapping, do you think rapping could be considered a form of meditation?

A triforce tower!
>>71I wonder if that structure has to do with MerKaBa fields. Might be something to look into.
this site is nothing but copy pasta, newfaggotry, and cancer.
>>139Umm.... you forgot about our abundance of triforces! And there's discussions on meditation as well. Dig deeper, fellow Om'er!

My, that's one mad monkey! This monkey is mad too. Maybe they are mad at each other? Or maybe they will be friends?
Hey Om'ers! I was watching an episode of Frasier tonight and heard something that I had not considered before. It was season 10 episode 23, entitled "Analyzed Kiss", which features a scene in which Niles Crane and his father, Martin, go to a shooting range. Niles is reluctant to shoot a gun, but eventually the other men at the range convince him to try it. Niles really starts to get into shooting the handgun. Later, he says that marksmanship is like a form of meditation. What are your thoughts on that? I personally have never fired a gun, but the claim seems reasonable. Have any of you felt that target shooting is a form of meditation?
I haven't done much target shooting either, but I know for sure that a huge aspect of accurately shooting a gun (especially for distant targets) is controlled breathing. And as you may know, anything that focuses on breathing is regarded as a form of yoga. So, yes, I definitely consider target shooting a form of meditation, albeit one that is a tad louder than the norm! hahaP.S. I love Frasier!

Hey Om'ers, I heard that if you meditate qigong-style, you may be able to do a 2-fingered handstand some day. What are your thoughts?
